India Announced T20I Squad Against West Indies #CricTribune

Bhuvneshwar, Shami return in Indian squad:

India announced their 15-men squad for their upcoming 3-match T20I and ODI series against West Indies on November 21. India’s captain Virat Kohli returns to lead his team in both formats after being rested for the 3-match T20I series against Bangladesh.

Bowler Rahul Chahar and wicketkeeper Sanju Samson, who were part of the T20I squad against Bangladesh but did not make it into the playing XI, were left out from the limited-overs squad. Left-arm bowler Khaleel Ahmed and right-arm medium bowler Shardul Thakur were also left out.

Right-arm seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who suffered from a hamstring injury in the past, returned to the Indian limited-overs squad. Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who played his last T20I against New Zealand in February, has been selected for the T20I squad.

Right-arm fast bowler Mohammad Shami, who made his last T20I appearance in July 2017 against West Indies, also returns to the squad for the upcoming T20I series, while retaining his spot in the ODI squad. All-rounder Krunal Pandya was also replaced by Ravindra Jadeja.

All-rounder Shivam Dube, who has already been part of the T20I squad, is expected to make his ODI debut in the upcoming 3-match ODI series.

West Indies recently lost the 3-match T20I series against Afghanistan by 2-1 after whitewashing them in the ODI series by 3-0. India won their recent 3-match T20I series against Bangladesh by 2-1.
