The medications currently approved to treat BPH are Alpha 1 Blockers and 5 Alpha reductase inhibitors. The treatment caused side effects because they work in entirely different ways. It also is used to treat urinary retention and reduce the risk of BPH-related surgery.

1. The risk to nursing mother and pediatric use

There are no sufficient studies that can indicate the use of the medication in females, nursing mothers, or children. Users must keep the Avodart Soft Gelatin Capsules away from pregnant women as they can cause abnormalities in the sexual organ of the male fetus.

What are Onglyza generic Saxagliptin side effects?

Onglyza was approved for its use in the US in the year 2008.  Bristol Myers Squibb marketed the product. It is an oral medication adjunct to diet and exercise to improve hyperglycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetics.

Onglyza generic Saxagliptin is designed to lower blood sugar levels by increasing the level of insulin after meals.

Side effects of Onglyza generic are:

• The risk of getting hypoglycemia is higher if Onglyza is used and other medications such as Sulfonylurea or insulin. 
• It is not for people who have type 1 diabetes.
• There can be swelling of the face, lips, throat, and other areas of the skin.
• Difficulty in swallowing or breathing
• Raised red areas on the skin, skin rashes, itching, flaking, or peeling of skin
• Joint pain
• Upper respiratory tract infection
• Urinary tract infection
• Headache 

Before taking Onglyza generic medication, the patient should inform the doctor about any underlying health problems such as inflammation of the pancreas, stones in the gallbladder, a history of alcoholism, high blood triglycerides.
