Chicago Rapper G Herbo Bribes Mexican Police with $4000 for Flying High

Chicago Rapper G Herbo Bribes Mexican Police with $4000 for Flying High

Chicago Rapper

Weed is a consciousness-altering medicinal plant famously associated with rap music, where some of the famous videos even showcase the ‘sticky icky.’ However, rappers express their love for weed in different ways. Some choose to invest in companies that produce weed legally, while others choose to transport it illegally. For example, there is no online smoke shop guide in Mexico yet, but it’s sure to come. But if you want to smoke weed in Mexico, make sure you don’t follow the example of Chicago-based rapper G Herbo.

Flying High

Rapper G Herbo recently learned that Mexico doesn’t play games when it comes to weed. The rapper thought it was better if he took 2 ounces of his own weed for his trip. Unfortunately, he was met by police at the airport who found the marijuana in his luggage.

In a video G Herbo uploaded to his Twitter, the rapper films himself walking outside of the airport. He looks straight into the camera and gives his audience an account of what just happened:

“Guess what just happened to me, y’all… 10 minutes into the trip, as soon as I landed, these b*tches just went in all over my sh*t… I was about to go to jail. They said ‘how much money you got on you?’, $2000, all-american, so that’s really $20,000 to them! And they just finessed the f*ck out of me. They said ‘Oh yeah, they told me they found a weed pen, they said they’re trying to send us home…”

Weed Business

Meanwhile, many rappers are entering the cannabis industry as investors and spokesmen. This includes Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter’s Caliva mary jane boutique or Berner’s cookie strain. In particular, Jay-Z went into the business in the hope of helping people affected by the War on Drugs.  Company officials commented on the famous rapper’s involvement:

“In this position, Mr. Carter will focus on and work to increase the economic participation of citizens returning from incarceration — many of whom are not seeing the monetary benefits of legalization — through advocacy, job training, and overall employee and workforce development.”

Other rappers such as Wiz Khalifa, chose to dive into the weed business by designing their own strains. Leafly product description for Khalifa Kush describes the strain as a specially bred hybrid designed according to the Wiz himself. While the strain is currently not available to the public, there have been sources who describe the profile of the strain as similar to OG Kush. This includes hints of lemon and pine that leaves you with an active buzz to use during the daytime.

This could be a popular trend with musicians and celebrities who are definitely well-educated in weed. Since the drug has permeated so deeply into popular culture, governments worldwide are looking into its legalization. This is why many rappers are getting a head-start and investing in companies that may well explode as soon as weed is legal in the U.S.

Expensive Mistakes

But that’s not all. Not only did G Herbo bribe the officers with two-thousand dollars out of his own pocket, it turns out his security did too:

“$4000! They just charged my damn security too. We just paid $4000 to get away, they’re just bribing, they’re talking about weed and smuggling, they said it’s a fine. They said ‘Oh no, you can’t pay the fine, you’re gonna go to jail now. It’s too much, it’s more than 5 grams.’ Give them the $2000 then, f*ck it. They took all of my weed, I’m mad as hell.”

There is one way the Chi-Town rapper can skip all of the drama. Simply do what most are doing in places where MJ’s not yet legal. Scoop Charlotte’s web coupon code and try CBD oils or products.  It’s just as natural and will calm the nerves of the Chiraq ghetto survivor.

Interview with acclaimed singer/songwriter and author, Klaude Walters

Klaude Walters

Klaude Walters is a multifaceted artist with an extraordinary career. Apart from being a singer and songwriter, Klaude is also an author who has recently started her writing journey with the book “Suicide Kills”. This book is very close to Klaude’s heart as it is based on her personal experience of losing her brother to suicide, along with many other tragic incidents that have left deep scars within. Despite all the tragedies and challenges that life threw at her, she stood strong and eventually overcame all of them.

She is today in a position where she inspires thousands of lives with her stories and music. In her book “Suicide Kills”, Klaude opens up about many issues that she has faced including abuse and suicidal tendencies. But this book is not another-victim-story; rather, it is about dealing with all these problems and pulling yourself out of your misery. It is about hope; it is about positivity; and most of all, it is about survival. This book is a perfect source of inspiration for anyone who has been through a difficult situation in life or is currently in a challenging space. If you plan on reading just on book your entire life, make sure it is this one!

Interviewer: Tell our readers a little about yourself?

Klaude Walters: Well, I am, at the core, an eternal optimist. I am an artist who loves the process of creating something out of nothing but most of all, I am someone who deeply respects courage and bravery and thrives to empower all those who surround me by showing them their own beauty, strength and talents. I am a songwriter and storyteller and I tend to escape my own outer world by going within where I have free range to create my surroundings. I find tremendous peace and joy in this exercise of introspection and strive to share this with others so that they may, in turn, experience some of the same joy I do.

Interviewer: What/Who inspired you to write “Suicide Kills”?

Klaude Walters: I first started contemplating the idea of writing this book after losing my beloved brother to suicide. I had had my own experience with suicide and had been spared by God to tell its story but had not felt the need to share. After losing Walter though, the immensity of my loss was too much to bare and I felt the need to tell the world the story of who he was and what the world had truly lost with his passing. For the first 10 years of that loss though, anger was much too prevalent in my heart and I didn’t feel right about sharing all of that darkness with the world.

I needed my heart to start healing in order to come to a place of acceptance so that I could really tell the story and also share the lessons learned from that experience. I believed there was more value to that approach than another “Why Me” book. My need to share my brother’s beautiful Soul is at the heart of what inspired me to write this book and share it with others so that in turn I could provide others with inspiration and healing if they were in the midst of their own experience with suicide.

Interviewer: Tell us the story behind the title of your book?

Klaude Walters: I chose this title because of its deeper meaning. Many people have sent me emails and messages stating “Of course Suicide Kills. Isn’t that the very point of it?” to which I answer that yes, suicide does kill the person committing the act but we often forget the ravage and collateral damage that is left behind with each suicide.

What I am trying to convey with my title is that suicide kills families, marriages, relationships, communities, etc…it’s ripple effect is far reaching and we often forget the war zone that is left after the fact. The title serves to initiate conversations that may be uncomfortable but truly are necessary if we are to understand, accept and grow from this incredibly painful experience and to, perhaps, be of assistance to someone in need when the time comes.

Interviewer: How do you manage to stay positive and upbeat amid all the challenges that life throws at you?

Klaude Walters: Resilience. My unwavering belief in God and his unconditional love for me. My faith is what drives my sails through any and all stormy waters. Without it, I would crumble under the immense pressure of life. Having God reside within me, take host in my heart, provides me with deep inner peace and strength.

I also practice meditation to ground and center myself, affirmations in order to condition my limitless mind and mantras and visualization to remain focused on my goals. These daily rituals help me remain positive in the face of any challenge and even push me to welcome the constant changes of life’s great journey.

It is the reason that I created the online course, “Powerless to Powerful”, that accompanies the book, “Suicide Kills”. I wanted to teach others my blue print to re-condition the mind to a more positive vibration and be able to bring more joy and peace into your inner sanctuary. I want others to achieve this level of success in their own lives and discover their most authentic selves.

Interviewer: What message would you like to give to our readers?

Klaude Walters: Life is a journey. It is meant to be “experienced” to the fullest, not survived. Know that what happens “to you” doesn’t define you. What does define you is your choices. Cultivating your inner world is a million times more important and more valuable to you than anything you do on the outside. Learn to center yourself through meditation so that you can have a clear mind when making decisions. Don’t deny your emotions but don’t give them free reign either.

Give them space to be expressed and absorbed and then step back and reflect on their reason for showing up. Learn from them but don’t let them control your being. Detach yourself from results, expectations, assumptions and ideals. They are nothing more than mirages. Instead, attach yourself to the development of your being and your character. Develop high standards of beliefs that you can commit to and live by for yourself and others.

Spend time in isolation in order to shed the layers of conditioning accumulated over time. It is only through spending time alone that you will discover what you truly love and what you’re passionate about without the influence of others. And once you find that passion, hold on tight to it and build a life, a career and a dream around it. Follow your bliss and joy will find you every time.

Most of all, I want my readers to deeply understand what a true miracle each one of us is. When you think of all the minuscule things that happen in synchronicity within us in order for us to be able to breathe in the morning air, listen to a child’s laughter, taste the sweetness of honey, or see the vibrant colours of a rose garden, you cannot deny that we are truly an unexplainable miracle.

If you start taking inventory of everything a human being can do, feel, see, hear, etc…you become overwhelmed with gratitude that you are one of these miracles. With all of life’s distractions, it is easy to forget who we truly are. My mission is to help others remember.

The Epoch Life Podcast –Helps listeners create lifestyle

Hosted by Jason Dowse,  The Epoch Life Podcast is an informative, action-based podcast that is helping listeners navigate change in their lives, especially during these difficult times. With most people easily being consumed by negative news around the world, it can be difficult to find the inspiration to make the changes you want to make in your life.  Creating a small change in your daily routine or habits is the first step towards improving your life and creating hope for the future you want in your life.

This is always easier said than done.  Most people will always have an idea in their mind of what they want to do or create, but are unable to act upon their goals.  This is where The Epoch Life Podcast comes to help.  In this podcast Jason invites expert guests from different backgrounds to share their stories and help inspire listeners to create the change they desire in terms of health, wellness, and lifestyle.

Jason talks more about his podcast, and how it can help people in this exclusive interview.

Interviewer: Let’s begin by knowing a little more about you. Give us a brief of your background.

Jason:  I grew up in a small town in Ontario, Canada.  After attending University, and working my way through narrowing down what I wanted to do career wise, I was fortunate to find and live my dream job.  A few years later I was married, had a home and figured I was “set” and ready to start a family.  That is when everything changed.  My marriage ended as a complete shock and I was forced to totally start over.  This is what led me to altering a lot of things in my life.  I was able to discover these small micro-habits that led into creating significant changes.

These new lifestyle changes are what led me to manage stress, sleep better, improve my nutrition and accomplish some major goals I wanted to achieve.  It was then I realized that there are plenty more people out there going through significant change like I did, but they may not know where to start.  That is when I created Epoch.  I created this brand to help provide inspiration & actionable information to help everyone out there struggling know that they can make the change they want in their life.  That they can start to live their Epoch, which can be defined as the beginning of a distinctive period of time in a person’s life.

Interviewer: What made you start this podcast?

Jason:  With Epoch most of our reach has only been performed through Instagram with some posts and promotion of new articles on our website.  With the rise in the popularity of podcasts, I figured this was a perfect outlet to be able to create conversation with expert guests that could help drop serious knowledge that our listeners could utilize.

Interviewer: Tell us about the guests you invite to your podcast?

Jason:  Thus far we have had guests such as Olympic & professional athletes, health professionals such as sleep experts, doctors of psychology & naturopathic medicine, as well as spiritual advisors and moguls of the business world.  Do you know what is really interesting?  Every one of these guest’s stories has had a similar theme.  At some point in their life they had a significant event in which they faced a challenge or obstacle.  They didn’t sit and hide from this challenge.  They found the courage to face it head on and this process led to dramatic positive change in their lives.

Interviewer: Tell us about some of the episodes you released so far?

Jason:  We have had some great episodes thus far with a variety of topics and focal points.  No matter if you’re looking to improve your sleep, manage stress, improve your nutrition, move your body a little more or set and achieve your goals, these episodes will really resonate with you.  Whatever change you are looking to create; these stories will help inspire you to act.

We had a recent episode with Catherine Arnston in which she discusses how a significant event in her life led her to create dramatic change and she even formed a new business from it creating the company ENERGY Bits.

Another recent episode was with Health Coach Veronica Parks, in which she tells her personal and vulnerable story about dramatically changing her life for the better and shares numerous actionable tips and info for helping others do the same by focusing on health and overall wellness.

Interviewer: What other episodes are you currently working on?

Jason:  We have a great episode releasing very soon with Brandon Sethre.  This is a very inspiring story about overcoming substance abuse and re-writing the story of your life.  He discusses the upcoming 5 year anniversary of his sobriety and how he got into the unbelievable sport of running ultra-marathons.  This is an episode that everyone should listen to as there are so many important take-aways.

We will continue to feature expert and interesting guests with stories that can help reach and impact our listeners.  My goal is that if there is one simple point in an episode that helps a listener improve their life in some way, then what an amazing gift that is to share with the world.  That is what this is all about.  I want to help as many people as possible around the world realize that you don’t have to let what happened to you be the end of your story.  You can create change.  You can create what you want.  You can begin to live your Epoch.

The Epoch Life Podcast is available on multiple streaming platforms through this LINK.
