Music Composer Anthony Rodriguez Rescores Deliver Us
Who remembers the 1998 film, Prince of Egypt movie from Dreamworks? I totally believe that movie needed more push than it received. I certainly loved the movie, and something made me want to watch the movie all over again. The original score was one of the best ever, huge budget; and having one special composer Hans Zimmer that has his studio complex, Remote Control Productions here in LA; that was one of the composers for this film.
I came across a remix via YouTube, and I found the Deliver Us score in Latin style. Then, I proceeded to look at the composer who arranged the remix, and it was a New Jersey musician — also a film composer. His name is Anthony Rodríguez. His recording studio, The Writing Room Productions is based in his home in New Jersey, where Deliver Us soundtrack was recorded.
The Deliver Us Latin Symphony soundtrack was also mastered at the iconic Air Studios in London where a lot of Hans Zimmer scores were recorded like, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight just to name a few; just tells you that this Latin remix soundtrack sure has the sound that best represents the original score. The Latin Soundtrack brings forth Latin percussion, bass, and piano. You can hear 95 percent of the original score in this record, but now with the Latin elements. It was surely a pleasure hearing this soundtrack as Latinos can definitely appreciate the sounds that will make you want to bop your head to a Prince of Egypt Score. You can hear the Deliver Us Latin Symphony on all music platforms.
