Ms. Marvel Will Be the Sixth Playable Character In Marvel Avengers

During a panel in New York, Crystal Dynamics confirms that Kamala Khan will not only be playable but will be the main character of the video game.

An intervention of Crystal Dynamics during the New York Comic-Con has served to learn important news about Ms. Marvel Will Be the Sixth Playable Character in Marvel Avengers, and that is that Kamala Khan, Ms. Marvel, will join Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor to be the sixth playable title character. Not only that but also will be the main character of the game, starring in passing the new trailer:

Key Game Character

Khan already makes an appearance in the first trailers of Marvel’s Avengers, which began to talk about the disaster of Day A, and in which he also mentions a girl who is a big fan of The Avengers. This girl is nothing but Kamala, a girl who through Terrigénesis unlocks her Inhuman powers, being able to stretch her arms and legs, as well as change her shape. For much of the video game, he will hide his powers from the rest of the Avengers.

Playable, Ms. Marvel will be somewhat slower than the rest of the characters, as confirmed by Crystal Dynamics, because at the moment, she is only learning to fight yet. “I appreciate how Crystal Dynamics has captured not only the character’s movements but also his personality,” said Sana Amanat, co-creator of the character and now Vice President of Content and Character Development at Marvel.

“I am a first-generation American, like her, with all that that entails,” said Sandra Saad, the actress who will play Khan and has worked on other video games such as Fallout 76 or Rage 2. “You grow up and you are not able to relate at all. Many teenagers decline because you are not well accepted everywhere. There is a struggle that comes with that.”

Marvel’s Avengers will arrive on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia on May 15, 2020.
