Malcolm A is back with his new single “I’m Just Saying”. This will be his 2nd single released from his new album with the same title. Malcolm A released his 1st project just a few months ago on Valentine’s Day titled “Dreamer Ep”. Shortly after he released the 1st single off his upcoming album titled “She Don’t Love Em” featuring Fly Boi Keno, and produced Dee Day.

“I’m Just Saying” has a roller coaster of emotions in the song. It tells a tale from a male and female point of view. The female thinks her partner is doing her wrong, and the male making his case that he is trying to better his living situation.

The song will be available on all platforms midnight August 15th. Malcolm A promises a full album with the same title “I’m Just Saying”, is in the works and coming soon.

Malcolm A also has 2 videos coming out in the next couple of weeks. The 1st video is for the song “I Got Ya” of the “Dreamer Ep. Followed by a video for “I’m Just Saying”.

Malcolm A says, “The two videos tell one story of that particular relationship”. “I Got Ya” was filmed in San Diego, California. It tells the story of how he met his lady and the good times of the relationship. “I’m Just Saying” was shot in New Orleans, Louisiana. It picks up where the other video left off. It shows the couple now and the good times plus the bad times in that relationship. We were told that you will see flashbacks of both videos in one.

What else are you currently working on?

I’m finishing up this album right now and also tapping back into writing songs for other artists. I have a song called “Showing Off” that I teamed up with the beautiful Yuli Genes with. We shot a video for that in San Diego also. She’s extremely talented. She is a model, singer, dancer, and actor. She has it all. I couldn’t be more excited for the song and her career. She’s definitely a star. I’m also excited about the events planned for Kampus Smakk. Owner John Godfrey has a bunch of projects planned that I’m happy to be apart of.

Do you have a specific number of albums in your head that you want to release?

No not really, I just want to focus on getting better at my craft and put out quality/timeless material.

With the new album, can we expect the same sound as “Dreamer Ep”?

For maybe a song or two, but as a whole no. I don’t want to change it up too much to the point my core audience doesn’t like, but I don’t want to be put into a box either. With this new project, I kept the same musical approach as Dreamer and turned it up. On Dreamer, I mainly only worked with one producer G Major Productions. This time around I’m reaching out to multiple people for different sounds. I want people all over to enjoy my music. With this album, I’ve worked with British artists, local producers, and I had to call on G Major for a few tracks as well. I’m extremely happy about this project and I hope it is received as well as Dreamer was and still is!

On your “I’m Just Saying” album, what is your favorite song so far?

Honestly, I would say it’s the intro to the album. With the intro, I took the mixtape approach. It’s not really a song and it doesn’t have a concept. It’s just me punching you over and over with punchlines and delivery.
