But out of the blue, it seems like these players have abandoned the battle royale and the Fortnite Item Shop for something else altogether. Whether it be for other games or endeavors, it’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from them. It certainly begs the question of why pro players abandon Fortnite altogether even though it’s what made them what they are today.

The Burnout

It can be a difficult decision for content creators to switch from one game to another since there’s the risk of losing their core audience in the process. However, completely burning out from playing too much of one game can be detrimental to a player’s health–physically and mentally. Most of the pro players that used to stream Fortnite no longer play the game at all thanks to burnout. Most streamers tend to stick to a game for more than six to eight months, and it’s not all fun and games. Sure there was still a lot of content and upcoming seasons that’ll no doubt bring new stuff to the Fortnite Item Shop, but the gameplay remains as repetitive as ever. This leads to content creators and professional players suffering from burnout. One could say that most of them would only continue to grind and play the battle royale video game because they knew that their audience enjoyed the content. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean that it’s great for them.

Becoming A Variety Streamer

Some streamers start off playing just one game but then transition to all sorts of other titles after they’ve managed to garner a large audience. In the world of Twitch and live-stream gaming, the environment can be a cruel place. Whenever a game becomes completely irrelevant or stale, it no longer provides a high viewership rate since other people have moved on. Unfortunately, the same thing happened to Fortnite–in fact, it happens to almost every game. While certain online games are still popular such as MOBAs like League of Legends, only a select few get to survive the turbulent trendings.

As such, some professional players turn to other games to go with the flow. We’ve such other games hovering the Twitch’s home page for a few days straight such as Fall Guys and Among Us when it first released, and believe it or not, the viewership count of already famous streamers spiked even higher thanks to those games. Plus, it also helps them spread out their audience a bit more. By not being tied down to just Fortnite, they can expect their fanbase to always be with them regardless of what game they play next.

The Technicalities

In just a few short weeks after claiming that he would try his best to become one of the best Fortnite players in the world, Ninja revealed that he no longer played the battle royale anymore. This was discussed during one of his streams when he was still in contract with Mixer. Many people expected the same reasoning to come out of his mouth such as burnout issues or just wanting to play other games, when in fact, it was due to some technicalities that ultimately broke the game for him. Talk about a curveball. The aim assist function for controller players has always been known to be broken. It’s a hot topic among streamers, casuals, and pro players alike. The aim assist function on 240Hz has become a problem to PC players since it led to many keyboard-and-mouse gamers using controllers instead–that’s how much of an advantage that controller players get. That sort of imbalance, according to Ninja, ultimately led to him and many other famous streamers such as Tfue, leaving Fortnite forever.

Fortnite is currently available across all sorts of platforms. With the influence of the battle royale spread far and wide, it’s no doubt that there are still millions of players active in the community. If you want to hit the pinnacle of leveling in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, then it’s going to take a lot of investment.  Not in just WoW TBC gold, but also in as much time as possible. Starting Out

When getting started with WoW TBC power leveling, we are going to be looking at roughly the first 48 levels or so. This might seem like a straight number to be working towards, but there is a nifty reason behind it. Between the starting point and level 48 or roundabout, you will be earning half of the XP that you’re going to get. This is going to dramatically slow down when you’re reaching the later levels, so it’s an important phase of the process.

Just because you are getting a high amount of experience at this point, you will still have a long way to go. Even if you get to the point where you’re halfway to 60 in terms of levels, your leveling adventure has a long way to go.

With that in mind, it can take you a couple of weeks or longer to get to level 60 once you have hit level 50. You may be able to cut this time down if you are dedicated enough to the cause.

The Final Levels

You’ll have already seen a change of pace when TBC power leveling from 50 to 60. It will have taken you a significant amount of time to get to this point, and it isn’t going to get any quicker from here. In fact, you’ll be looking at twice the length of time to get to 70 as it would have to go from 50 to 60 earlier. To put it into perspective, you will have earned over 3 million XP getting from the first level up to 60. To get to level 70, you’re going to have to double this for just those last 10 levels.

To finish this last stretch, try treating it as a separate experience from what you have had so far. You should try and complete every quest that you have available. Once you’ve finished the quests in one zone, move on when you get the opportunity to travel to a new zone. It’ll take over a week to complete these 10 levels, assuming you play the game regularly and keep your breaks minimal.

You’re looking at a few weeks to complete the process of reaching level 70. The grind that you have ahead of you is a long one for sure. But with that being said, there are many adventures that lie ahead of you in The Burning Crusade. Though it seems like a long time, there is a heck of a lot of interesting content that is waiting for you.

At least, you may now have a better idea of the length that Burning Crusade power leveling takes. You might be willing to part with some WoW TBC gold or grind those extra hours to get to where you need to be. If you do choose to take it slow, then there’s plenty to soak in with WoW TBC. The content will certainly ramp up as you get to the later levels. With some savvy planning ahead of time, then you may even be able to cut down the time it takes dramatically. Whatever approach you decide to take, you will soon enough be reaching your ultimate goal of finally maxing out your level in The Burning Crusade.

Amazon Game Studios certainly struck gold with New World in comparison to their experience with Crucible, but will it experience a long-term or short-lived success?

Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos, recently took to social media to praise the success of its recently released MMO New World which is getting a lot of attention despite some of the major issues that players are currently having in the game. New World is Amazon Game Studios’ first MMO that has just been released to the public and so far has been an immediate success. At this very moment, New World has been breaking player count records all over the place. But at the same time, this has led to a lot of players also suffering–long queue times, full servers, the inflation of New World Coins, and New World items are among some of the things that players are now complaining about. Most of the new games that release these days often garner a lot of attention for the first few weeks, especially online games. But after a while, the trend dies out and the player count drops drastically. Is New World simply just a fad in the video gaming scene or will it become an MMO that’s here to say for the foreseeable future?

Looking Back At Crucible

Besides giving some compliments to the chef, aka Amazon Game Studios, Bezos also remarked a couple of harsh words for the previous games that were released by the game studio. Crucible was labeled as “failures and setbacks” and, when compared to New World, is the complete opposite of the reception that the MMO is getting now. Crucible was shut down not long after its launch due to having too few players. The game suffered a bit of an identity problem which failed to attract players, so it must’ve been sad for the developers of Crucible, but at the same time, it’s excellent news for the New World team who have toiled their hearts out in making the game completely fresh such as by adding lots of ways to earn New World Coins and New World items. Make no mistake, New World also suffers from some flaws, but it’s in a far healthier state now when talking about the number of players that are actively playing the MMO.

New World Servers Are Full

Perhaps the biggest indication of New World’s popularity is that it’s struggling to keep up with the high player counts that it’s been experiencing lately. During the first 24 hours of New World, there were over 700k players that rushed head straight into the game. Trying to jump online resulted in long queue times, with some players even reporting that they have to wait hundreds of hours or even weeks trying to get into a sever. Things have certainly calmed down a bit once the players have stopped trying to play the game at every hour of the day, but as for the folks that have a fully populated server as their home, the problem remains.

To measure just how full the servers are in New World, Amazon Game Studios had to stop character creation on those servers to prevent new players from entering them. This meant that characters that are already on the server long before it was full will still be able to log in and play, but for those that are planning to head on over there even if it’s already full, then they better find another server someplace else. According to Amazon Game Studios, the solution of blocking people from making new avatars in servers that are marked as “Full” is simply a temporary solution since there’s an assumption of more players spreading out to the other servers and the overall number of simultaneous users dropping after playing the game for a while.

Alongside this, the studio also dropped a server status page so that players can easily see how populated their server in New World is in just a glance. This will also tell them whether their server is up, down, or undergoing maintenance. Amazon has suggested to the new users that creating characters in the low population servers is the way to go if they want to play New World. They’ve also promised that a character transfer feature is coming to New World sooner rather than later, so players need not worry about having their character stuck in just one server.

Conclusion

Amazon certainly struck gold in New World, but only time and management will tell as to whether it’s here to stay or to go. Should Amazon be able to build up a rapport that’s similar to Microsoft’s “for the gamers” image, then they’ll be sure to create more games that will pique the public’s interest. Amazon is one of the largest companies in the world right now and they can afford to just throw money at whatever game that they’d like to create, but it’s no use if they won’t garner any long-term success. Creating more New World items and quests to get New World Coins can certainly lengthen the longevity of the game, but what truly matters is how Amazon Game Studios will continue to support the MMO.
