What are the steps to cancel Avast auto-renewal?

Avast antivirus is a famous security program for Windows PC. The plans of Avast antivirus are also available for almost all the platforms. You can install the free Avast antivirus on the device and remove all the viruses. The freeware of Avast offers various basic tools for security. If you want the advanced antivirus tools then you can upgrade the Avast antivirus to premium. The paid Avast plans provide better malware protection, firewall, secure browsing, VPN, parental control, banking security and various other tools. Avast has an auto-renewal feature for premium plans. When the antivirus license is about to expire, it gets renewed automatically. The auto-renewal service prevents the device vulnerability. The antivirus gets renewed and the payment appears on your banking details you have entered while purchasing Avast. When you don’t want to renew the plan automatically then you can disable the auto-renewal service.

Steps to cancel Avast auto-renewal from your Avast account

Users can use the Avast antivirus account for cancelling the subscription. When you cancel Norton subscription, your plan will not get auto-renewed. For cancelling the Avast auto-renewal, open your Avast antivirus account. 

1. On the Avast account, open your Subscription window
2. Click on your Avast plan and select the Unsubscribe button
3. You will see Avast wizard on your screen
4. Tap the Confirm button to cancel the subscription.

Cancelling Avast auto-renewal using Google Play Store

You can also cancel the auto-renewal service of your Avast antivirus from the Google play store. Users can get the Avast setup from the Google store. If you have purchased the setup from the play store then you can directly cancel it from there:

1. Open the device’s play store
2. Open the Store Menu
3. On the subscription window, select the Avast antivirus
4. Choose Cancel Subscription button

Follow the wizards and the Avast antivirus auto-renewal will be disabled. Now when your subscription expires, you can’t use the premium tools.

Disabling Avast auto-renewal using Apple Store

You can also use the Avast antivirus on iOS devices. When you get the Avast setup on your iOS from the Apple store; you can disable it easily. You can disable your subscription from the App store:

1. Open your App store using Apple ID
2. Click on your profile image
3. Open the subscription window
4. Choose on the Avast icon
5. Choose Cancel Subscription

Click on the Confirm button. Your Avast auto-renewal plan is disabled now. After disabling the Avast subscription, users can access the Avast paid tools until expiry. When the antivirus gets expired, you can use the free one only.

When your Avast antivirus plan expires, you can either use the freeware of Avast or you can renew the antivirus manually. When the Avast plan is about to expire, it starts sending the expiry messages and popups.When you don’t need the Avast plan then disable the popup or ignore it.  But when you want to use the premium tools of your Avast plan then you can renew the antivirus manually. You can use Avast tool till expiry date and then renew your antivirus. Users can renew the antivirus plan, days before the expiry date. Don’t worry about the remaining days as they will get added. Users can easily renew the plan by clicking on the renew popup. When you get the Avast expiry warning popup; click on it. You will get the Avast web page. Click on the renewal plan and then enter your billing details. When the payment completes, Avast antivirus will get renewed and you can use its premium tools. If you don’t renew the antivirus, you can use Avast free tools or upgrade the Avast plan.
