Work –”Fusion”
Fusion is a digital artwork created on Midjourney in 2022 by Patrick BRANDIZI. She mixes the styles of jazz and rock. The artist created this work to be displayed on a large screen, in a public space or a musical event.
The work begins with a black background, on which abstract and geometric shapes gradually emerge. These forms move, overlap and then form an abstract and captivating landscape.
In the center of the work, a human silhouette emerges, which seems to play a musical instrument. As the music is heard, the silhouette transforms, becoming a mixture of different musical styles.
The band members take the form of a rock guitarist, a jazz saxophonist, a heavy metal drummer and a drinking pianist. The colors and shapes are also transformed, to recall the atmospheres and emotions specific to each musical genre.
As the music intensifies, the work metamorphoses, becoming increasingly abstract and complex. Shapes reminiscent of musical notes, ripples and vibrations appear and multiply, to create an immersive and synaesthetic experience.
“Fusion” is a work of art that celebrates the richness and diversity of musical people, while inviting viewers to be carried away by the music. It shows the ability of digital art to create unprecedented visual and sound experiences, which transcend the boundaries between arts and cultures.
