Two Must-Visit Countries For Nature Lovers

Nature Lovers

There are so many beautiful places around the Earth, and we travelers want to see them all. While many aspire to visit modern cities such as New York or Tokyo or to have a vacation at one of the best resorts in the world in Macau or Monaco, others prefer to spend their time with nature. In this post, we are going to discuss the most amazing countries for you to visit if you want to see all the colors and wildness this world has to offer.

Mountains and hills, lakes and rivers, forests and jungles, landscapes and seas, they are all waiting for you to see them with their own eyes. For us, those who cannot live without Nature, the marvel of Earth is never-ending. Nothing is quite like feeling your most primordial instincts; our ancestors walked the same Earth as we do now, and they have crossed the same mountain paths and roads that are now available to you.

New Zealand

The diversity of nature and its uniqueness in this isolated country is unmatched by any other in the world. A third of its land is national parks and natural resorts. That’s 33% roughly speaking. Know any other place that can brag about a number that high? The Wilderness is always near, with thousands of picturesque and green locations for your choosing. There are grand mountains, with ranges spanning all over the country. Some of them are active volcanoes!

Colossal panoramic coastlines, with both public and wild beaches, are quite popular here as well. The ocean is surrounding the islands, so it’s no surprise that it’s one of the most frequent leisure activities for the locals. You can surf, swim, walk by the seaside, and do whatever else you desire in New Zealand. It’s a free country after all.

There are also many distinctive sights that separate this land from any other. The most beautiful fjords you can find in the world, are located exactly at this destination. There are also plenty of exuberant rainforests, vast green plains, and natural attractions such as Geysers, mud pots, and steamy lakes.

On my frequent travels, I always meet wonderful people with whom I keep in touch. A friend I met in Dubai recently went on a long trip to New Zealand, where it’s actually cold in the summer and he wasn’t too prepared for that. He wrote a detailed outline of when it’s best to visit the country, check it out on arabic-traveler.com. It’s absolutely worth letting your browser translate that for a few seconds (a feature most applications have now).

South Africa

Truly nature’s lover destination, this country has over a thousand wild reserves and parks.

This nation can offer you the biggest diversity in all of Africa’s continent. It has forests, mountains, deserts, and savannas. These are just to name a few! Such an abundance of wildlife can only be found here: you have the usual lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos all over the place.

I would be heading to the capital first (there are actually three), Cape Town, and starting on exploring this new world with the most known hiking trails there. The Drakensberg mountains are a thrilling experience by themselves, but adding on top the highest waterfall in all Africa? You can’t possibly miss that. If you visit in the Spring, you also get the opportunity to view all the beautiful flower fields blooming, and that’s an experience that can’t be swapped out by anything else. In general, spring and summer are the best times to visit, even if it’s hotter.

There are plenty of opportunities for kayaking, driving through the safari, and actually diving into the sea as it’s one of the best places to do that. One of the best road trips I took personally was the Garden Route in South Africa. I will never forget it, and the pictures that were taken there speak louder than any other words anyone can utter.

Final Thoughts

I believe these two are countries that everyone must visit at least once during their lifetime. The weather is gorgeous; they are quite affordable (if you don’t count the tickets to NZ), there is both amazing nature and beaches, delicious food (vastly different between the two), and astonishing views that you will remember forever.

No matter what kind of experience you are looking for, in these two countries you will find it. You can ride horseback, surf, lay at the beaches, go on multiple hiking trips and anything else your heart desires. Here is a list of things you must do on your next trip.
