Trivago poster featuring Sean Borg hitting rail and tube stations across Europe and parts of the U.S. is looking good!

This week saw the release of a new Trivago poster in train stations across Europe and some parts of the U.S., featuring one of the new favorites —Sean Borg.

The British TV personality has been promoting the popular hotel website online for most of this year. The campaign has become hugely popular amongst Trivago fans on social media around the world.

Borg — a former entertainment news reporter who appeared on the hugely successful FOX TV news show — TMZ, is now an accomplished lifestyle and travel expert.

So far, the promotional shots have appeared in parts of New York, London, Holland, France, and Germany, featuring Borg as one of the new brand ambassadors.

On the poster, that is causing excitement among Trivago lovers, Sean is seen posing with the familiar “multi-colored” Trivago logo emblazoned across his T-shirt.

The publicity campaigns have proved immensely effective for the German transnational technology company, attracting millions of new travelers worldwide. In previous releases, Australian actress and model, Gabrielle Miller, was featured as the Trivago girl. Miller appeared in a series of successful ads, mainly in the U.K.

According to Diana Vidovic — a former regional manager for Trivago, Miller was on hiatus for a while. Vidovic was quoted recently saying“While Trivago Girl isn’t gone for good just yet, she’s taking a hiatus.

The original player — Tim Williams, has become an enormous celebrity from the commercials, and can still be seen as the “Trivago Guy” across the U.S.

Growth rates of Trivago’s (NASDAQ:TRVG) financials make it one of the most exciting stocks to analyze at the moment, making its upside quite significant.

Trivago’s marketing and product optimization efforts in the past year are paying off as the metasearch site grew its referral revenue in June compared to one year earlier, while its advertising spend was lower in the same time frame.
