Trials of Osiris - Key Missions to Complete

Trials of Osiris is back again this weekend, giving Destiny 2 players another opportunity to engage in some of the most challenging multiplayer battles. As always, you are up to purchasing weapons and armor for test drives and boosting your power with a couple of cool items. But you can also get a couple of precious items when successfully accomplishing different missions.

As always, challenges are available from the daily reset on Fri until the weekly reset at the same time next Tue. During this time, you can visit Zur to see what exotic items are being sold there. Be sure to go to Saint-14 in the Tower to pick up a mission that will determine certain bonuses and rewards that you can potentially get.

Game Basics

Trials of Osiris is a popular PvP game that runs from a daily reset on Fri to a weekly reset on Tue, giving you 4 days to compete for royal bonuses and rewards. The main goal in the challenges is for you and the other two players from your team to organize a flawless race and win a couple of matches without losing a single one.

However, thanks to the many changes made to Trials of Osiris this season, entering this mode is a little easier than before. Besides that, the game now has a matchmaking feature, so you can participate in matches even if you don’t have a full squad of three players to play with. What is more, there is a challenge pass – the card that you buy from Saint-14 and that tracks your winnings. It no longer tracks your losses, so you can keep playing and getting rewards even if you lose on a flawless race. In order to prevent this situation from happening and pocket the best awards available on the race, then you can always resort to the Trials of Osiris carry service.

It is also now possible to receive rewards based on the number of rounds rather than matches you won during a session. Besides that, thanks to a reputation system, it is way easier to get some of Osiris’s unique loot challenges. Finally, you have a chance to earn Mode Challenge Engrams, which you can cash out with Saint-14 over the weekend after you receive them.

With the new update, you can customize engrams to get specific loot chunks or take the risk by completing random drops that increase what’s available in your loot pool. So even if you’re just jumping into challenges alone, there are plenty of ways to earn great new gear.

What Challenges Are Available at Trials of Osiris?

There are a couple of challenges that you can dive into when playing the Trials of Osiris game. Each of them promise exclusive rewards.

#1 – Get to the Lighthouse

Obtain exclusive rewards in the Trials of Osiris game by defeating other Guardians in the weekly elimination playlist and fight your way to the Lighthouse.

#2 – Challenge Passes

There are five unique passes that can be purchased from Saint-14. Each of them has its own mechanics. Each pass counts the number of rounds to be won. After achieving seven victories on one Challenge Pass, players receive additional rewards for each successive victory: engrams, materials for upgrading to the Ultimate, and armor of Challenges.

#3 – Test Contracts

In addition to passes, players can also purchase three types of challenge contracts, which are rewarding for completing them. For weekly contracts, a player will receive experience points, brilliance, and 35 crucible rank points. When it comes to daily contracts, experience points and 15 crucible rank points are available to all.

#4 – Challenge Reputation and Rewards

Trial of Osiris Reputation can be earned by completing matches, and its amount depends on the number of matches players win with their challenge pass. For each increase in the rank of a challenge reputation, a player receives a challenge engram. The latter can contain any equipment a game participant has previously earned in Trials.

Every 3 rank increases, a player receives a powerful challenge engram. Upon reaching the maximum rank of challenges, it can be reset to zero to obtain the highest shard or exotic engram. If a player successfully copes with all the trials, one will gain access to the Lighthouse and gain access to super-powerful equipment.

#5 – Challenge Gear Glow

Challenge equipment for players who successfully complete weekly challenges will glow yellow; the glow will gradually fade after one week. To increase the brightness of the glow, players will need to complete game challenges again. In case of flawless completion of the trials, a player will pocket two unique challenge emblems that allow you to change the color of the glow.
