ThinkZilla Consulting Group Earns MBE Certification

Award-winning Brand Development and Transformation Agency Earns Platinum-Standard Stamp from Supplier Diversity Organization

ATLANTA, Ga. – ThinkZilla Consulting Group, LLC has earned its MBE certification from the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).

The council’s certification advances opportunities for minority-owned business enterprises, connecting them to 2,000 corporate partners committed to purchasing products, services, and solutions from diverse providers.

“While we’ve had great success over the past decades, our MBE certification will increase our level of competitiveness and position us for even more opportunities in the corporate arena,” said Dr. Velma Trayham, CEO of Thinkzilla Consulting Group.

ThinkZilla Consulting Group has provided services for over 200 clients, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

Through strategic public relations and digital marketing, the company has raised the profiles of emerging brands and helped established brands retool their approach for greater visibility.

The company has been tapped for high profile book tours and film premieres, higher education initiatives, brand launches and more. Against the backdrop of Super Bowl LIII, ThinkZilla increased web visibility and social media engagement for Atlanta Airlines Terminal Company (AATC), the backbone of the operation for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Using the sporting event to showcase the company’s operational excellence, ThinkZilla took AATC to “new heights,” said President and CEO Dr. Kofi Smith.

“Based on my prior experience with agencies, I did not think digital marketing and social engagement had the potential to grow the way it has under ThinkZilla’s direction,” said Smith.
“The team goes above and beyond.”

On the heels of earning an MBE certification, ThinkZilla Consulting Group has also been selected to be a member of the Class of 2020 for the Georgia Mentor Protégé Connection.

The program is a small business development initiative of the Georgia Education Foundation, the educational arm of the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC), and supported by the State of Georgia’s Department of Economic Development and the Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute.

ThinkZilla’s assigned corporate mentor for the year is the Grady Health System.

Upon competition of the program, ThinkZilla will join an esteemed group of approximately 400 alumni firms, many of which have earned major contracts and awards for achievement in business.

“Grady is the fifth-largest public hospital in the U.S. and has a national reputation for clinical excellence, innovation and most recently, health IT,” said Dr. Trayham.

“Learning firsthand how Grady has continued to innovate and adapt to the changing healthcare landscape while providing service at a high level is invaluable. This opportunity will be a game-changer for our firm.”

ThinkZilla Consulting Group is also WOSB-certified and maintains an A+ rating with BBB. For more information, visit www.thinkzillaconsulting.com.
