Delivering The Xfactor To Our Ears Every Week: Bubba McCarthy, The Musician and Music Producer That Makes All This Possible.

Bubba drums in the popular DJ Antics vs Drummers events which are a monumental part of The Antics Residency which is held at the Famous Koko Venue one of London’s biggest club nights. He has been nominated for a Brit Award.

Bubba performed with Jennifer Hudson, Cyndi Lauper and even arranged and programmed tracks for Simon Cowell’s girl group “The Girls”. The views for the songs that McCarthy has worked on have passed over 200 million views on Youtube.

Hi Bubba and Welcome to The Hear Up.”

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?

I’ve had many highlights in my career but I would say playing with Jennifer Hudson has been amazing. She’s an Oscar winner and arguably has one of the best voices in the world.   I remember the first rehearsal with her was incredible. I was blown away by her talent.

Out of all the keyboard players in the world, she chose me, so it was humbling!

You’re a hugely successful musician, and producer, what is it like working for some of the top artists in the world?

It’s a huge honor and I have to pinch myself sometimes. No doubt, when I’m working with people of this caliber, it’s very high pressured, but the more you do it, the more you get used to it. The responsibility is huge working for some of these artists. The shows are big, the TV shows are high pressured, so you just have to be consistently at the top of your game.

You are constantly on TV. How does TV performances differ from normal gigs?  I’ve done a lot both of which have been very useful. I would say that TV gigs normally have more pressure on them. It’s life, so there is no room for error so everything, from your monitor mix to your instrument set-up has to be perfect. Nothing can go wrong on TV.  On a gig, there are techs who are there for any problems that might ensue. Experience does help.

You’re the Musical Director/keyboardist for Ivor Novello winner John Newman? What are the key attributes you need when working for A-list artists?

I would say the key to working with A-list artists is to: have done your homework and be a great communicator. Homework-wise, preparing the set and individual song arrangements are incredibly important. The artist, the band, the management team, the audience. Everyone relies on you to have put everything together. There is no room for error. I’ve played to shows in front of more 50,000 people. My responsibility for each project is very high.

How do you get the work that you do?

I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some of the biggest names in the world, from Jennifer Hudson, Cyndi Lauper, and John Newman. My industry is one of the words of mouth so once an artist has seen you work with another big name then they are more likely to call you. My reputation is hugely important to me, and so every project demands my full attention and the best I have to offer.

You also worked as a music director for years while also a music producer. Do you find that those two jobs are very similar?

The two jobs are indeed similar and I think you need the same qualities. Your attention to detail has to be second to know and you have to be super-creative. Everyone is looking for something that helps them stand out, whether it be a track or a musical performance.

You’ve played on the MainStage at Glastonbury. How was that experience?

This was one of the craziest experiences of my life. I was playing drums and I had over 30,000 people watching, screaming and dancing. To be on one of the most iconic stages in the world performing was a humbling experience. A very small percentage of musicians in the world get to experience that, and I was one of them.

You have been the principal keyboard player for Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson. How was that experience?

That was a great experience. Jennifer is one of the biggest artists in the world. She is also one of the nicest humans in the world. She made my job easier. It was a great experience working for her.

Why do people keep coming back to you?

I believe you’re only as good and relevant as your last job, so I try my best to put in the work on every job and also maintain a high standard of excellence. The aim is that people keep calling me back, which amazingly most of my clients have done.

Do you have any advice for aspiring musicians?

I would say, number one is to become a master of your craft. Secondly, make sure you’re prepared for every job you get so you’re able to deliver a high level of musicianship to your client. Be creative, be a troubleshooter, and be humble.

Anything, in particular, you’re looking forward to in 2020?

I’m looking forward to a lot of stuff. I’ve got quite a few production projects booked. I’ll be working out of Neilaproduction studios with the producer Nico Farmakalidis and the artist Aika, which I am very excited about. I’ll be also working on albums with Alessia Cara, Tori Kelly, and Demi Lovato. Massive love to Milk & Honey for setting that up. I’ll also be working with the amazingly talented George Solonos on a cool instrumental project! It’s going to be a fun year!

Karim Karaboue/Amakar Digital | Cinematographer & Content Creator

Awards/Achievements –

Karim Karaboue is an award-winning Cinematographer, Dop & Director that has worked with brands link Mtv, Complex Magazine, Noisey, I-d, Mercedes Benz, etc etc

He is now focusing on helping aspiring entrepreneurs who want to understand the ins and outs of the entertainment industry learn how to establish brand authority.

Q1. HI! THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO CHAT WITH US! CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF,?

Thanks for the time you’ve taken to interview me, my name is Karim Karaboue, I’m a cinematographer/content creator. I cater to elites and celebrities within the industry. I have come from a background specializing in music videos and have worked with brands like MTV, complex magazine, Noisey, Netflix, etc.

Q2. THE “CONTENT CREATOR” TITLE IS RELATIVELY NEW TO THE INDUSTRY. WHAT IS A CONTENT CREATOR FROM YOUR PERSPECTIVE?

A content creator is essentially someone who is able to export the creative ideas from their minds or clients’ minds into a format/style that can be viewed and understood by everyone in my opinion.

Q3. EVERY BRAND IS SO UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT. HOW DO YOU COME UP WITH A STRATEGY FOR TELLING A BRAND’S STORY?

I find that if the focus is on the brand creator’s story and not just the brand itself it enables the fans to be able to connect with the brand on a deeper level. instead of coming up with fancy strategies, I am focused more on the core of the brand creator and why they created the brand in the first place. Everyone loves a story. being able to focus on the brains behind the brand is my main focus whenever I work with a brand.

Q4. HOW DO YOU MEASURE THE PERFORMANCE OF YOUR CONTENT MARKETING?

The proof is in the pudding! As i rule of thumb I look at the feedback to gauge the success and impact of a campaign or a project but there is no better proof than analytics.

Q5. WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE YOU FACE AS A CONTENT CREATOR?

I guess one of the biggest challenges I face is expressing the deep values of a brand in a way that can cater to the average person whose attention span is lower than a few seconds. A lot of brands and businesses I have been honoured to work with have really deep enriching stories behind their logos and verified ticks, but being able to showcase this in a way that the average everyday person can understand can be a bit tricky at times. But in the end, I am always able to produce a masterpiece.

Q6. WHAT’S SOMETHING WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU THAT MIGHT SURPRISE US?

I don’t have 1 single GCSE, I don’t know what it’s like to go to a college or a university I have been completely self-taught from the age of 14. But elites want to always work with me hahaha

Q7. ANY UPCOMING PROJECTS YOU CAN TALK ABOUT?

I have a private project I am working on with Netflix and amazon prime that features my mentor who is a business/real estate mogul and a bunch of different entrepreneurs. I don’t want to talk too much about the project right now but in due time all will be seen.

Q8. WHERE CAN OUR READERS FIND YOU ONLINE?

I’m everywhere!! www.amakardigital.com and my Instagram are @amakardigital. Hit me up anytime and let’s connect, I’m always happy to meet new people!

How to Level up Your Character 60-70 in TBC WoW if You don’t Have Time to Play

Blizzard Entertainment developed the first MMORPG game known as World of Warcraft. Its expansion model was TBC (The Burning Crusade). The Classic TBC is becoming popular among game players. With the TBC classic leveling 60-70 of WoW, every player of TBC is ambitious about reaching the highest level of rank. With the shift from WoW Classic to The Burning Crusade, a new location (Outland) has been added to the game where players encounter enormous hordes of demons and the opposing group’s players. With the TBC classic leveling, the game has become more complicated, especially for beginners.

This article will open up different ways to you to level up in WOW TBC Classic easily and swiftly.

Fastest Means to Level Up WoW TBC Classic

To level up the character in the game, the player has to complete many tasks at different locations.

#1. Completing the Quests of Game

The Classic TBC is full of quests at different levels. You can get WoW TBC Classic gold and other items along with XP on completion of investigations. This game is different from WoW classic as you don’t need to pass various zones or explore quests under each stone. In this game, quests givers can be found where they should be in the TBC.

#2. Grinding

Grinding is about killing mobs continually that are not a fraction of a quest. You can generally do this by playing particular game classes, such as Frost Mage practicing AoE pulls or Protection Paladin. When you kill mobs of similar levels, grinding becomes more effective.

#3. Dungeon Farming for Reputation

In this game, the REP (the reputation) performs a significant part before reaching level 70. Factions are related to all leveling dungeons. All of these invite you to be exalted or disclosed to gain different attunements and rewards. Dungeon grinding can be a unique way of familiarity in WoW Classic TBC. You can also get a reputation cap by five people group together.

What to Do When Don’t Have Time to Play?

You can use 1-3 methods to level up your character, but it takes time. If you are facing a deficiency of time, use the method given below.

#4. Purchase WoW TBC Classic Boosting Service – The Best Method
