• Usage. Compared to a handkerchief, its purpose varies because it is only used to bring out the very best look of your attire. For more elaboration, handkerchiefs are used to wipe any fluids that come out of your body. Meanwhile, a pocket square is used for fashion. It looks good and can make the wearer feel confident when attending an event.
• Size. A pocket square is smaller compared to a handkerchief. It tends to be smaller because it is inserted into a small pocket of your coat. • Material Used. As mentioned, pocket squares are primarily used for fashion, so the fabrics they are made up of are non-absorbent, such as linen and silk. They can also be made with cotton. Therefore, it cannot be used for sneezing, wiping your sweat, or other stuff that you do with a handkerchief because it is a fashion accessory, and you use a handkerchief to do those kinds of stuff.
