Naughty Dog’s Plans for the Last of Us Part 2 Multiplayer
Last people, half II won’t have multiplayer. However, that does not mean that naughty Dog they are not working or designing a title with online functions set in the universe of the series or that many of the plans they had about it have been discarded. For a few days, the study has clarified that it was a matter of priorities and that they continue to work in this way, but not as part of the sequel. Now they promise that the wait will be worth it.

“I have to clarify some things,” explained Bruce Straley, co-creator of The Last of Us, in an extensive Twitter thread. “I know that many of you understand me and know my sense of humor and that many of your answers always make me laugh, but let me understand a certain nervousness about the absence of the multiplayer in The Last of Us 2, ” he adds. “I trust the team and I know they are working and I can attest that this content is EXTREMELY ambitious, ” he confirmed.
“At Naughty Dog we always strive to provide the best imaginable experiences. This sometimes means postponing or changing the staff of their jobs to reach and keep our promises. And if that means that the multiplayer mode arrives with some delay in This time, well, I can guarantee that it is for good reasons, “Straley said. “Finally, I appreciate the passion that many have for the multiplayer. We work very hard to make it something special and I want to say thank you for getting so much involved in the game! I also had some epic games playing # Factions, so I understand it,” concluded.
