” Machrou3i Fi Bledi ” – To enhance Maghreb diaspora to invest in their homeland .
In 2011 Tunisia successfully deposed its dictatorial political regime and has since established a democratic government. Largely supported by the international community, Tunisia has embarked on a journey to establish a new government operated by the rule of law through the cooperation of both government and non-governmental organizations. This cooperation resulted in the award of a Nobel Peace Prize in 2015.
The country has embraced democracy and seeks to further develop democratic principles through legal and economic reforms, including tax incentives, vocational training, and attraction of both domestic and foreign investment.
To improve Tunisia’s attractiveness to investors, Hadhri Marouen and his team created the company Machrou3i Fi Bledi. The company was formed on March 13, 2015, and its fundamental objective is the development of entrepreneurial spirit among young Tunisians diaspora and encouragement to participate in the creation of small to medium-sized business enterprises.
The company has thus far trained over 2200 people, 11 percent of which have launched their own business projects. If Tunisia is to achieve greater prosperity and social equity for its citizens, it must further integrate into the modern world economy.
Innovative startups must be the engine that propels into the 21st Century, More than 2200 aspiring Tunisian entrepreneurs have participated in training cycles organized by Machrou3i Fi Bledi.
Seminars and workshops are conducted in seven Governantes in collaboration with 18 domestic and international partners for the purpose of making training locally available to disadvantaged regions of the country.
In addition to seminars and workshops, we offer individualized counseling and mentoring to assist and encourage business development. It is our belief that with additional funding we can expand the scope of our efforts to reach more Tunisians and enhance the quality of our services by obtaining the services of highly qualified and experienced business professionals to assist in our mission.
Our role is to work together with these young promoters to overcome adversity by providing them with mentoring, coaching and networking. MFB services cover Tunis, Sousse, Monastir, Sfax as well as rural regions in West and South Tunisia to become the leader of the social business ecosystem in Tunisia.
Additionally, we have performed work abroad targeting the Maghreb diaspora in Algeria, France, Germany, Denmark and Egypt demand for our services experienced sharp growth and our objective is to expand our coverage to support Tunisians abroad.
