Star Wars: Project Maverick name leaked via PlayStation Network

A tremendous surprise that came to light this afternoon after the existence of a video game called Star Wars: Project Maverick leaked. The Twitter account PSN Releases has been in charge of providing this information, the purpose of which is to warn of the arrival of any title that is added to the PlayStation Store, as has been the case with this new Star Wars game.

The truth is that it is not the first time that we have come across such a case. Precisely this same situation was the one that occurred a few days before Capcom officially announced the development of Resident Evil 3, so it will be necessary to remain vigilant in case Electronic Arts ends up throwing a little more information about all this.

At the moment there is no official detail of the game to hold on to. The only thing we can appreciate from its first image is that what appears in the background looks like Mustafar, the volcanic planet that will be familiar to you because it is the setting in which Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker star in one of the most spectacular combats in the film saga. from Star Wars, specifically in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. All of this occurs at a time when Kotaku recently posted an entry stating that EA had canceled a Star Wars video game codenamed Viking. However, in that same report, he also pointed out that there were two other titles in the saga in development, one of them being a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at the hands of Respawn Entertainment.

The other would be carried out by EA Motive and it would be a minor project, so this mysterious Star Wars: Project Maverick could fit this description in the event the information provided by Kotaku ends up becoming a reality. In any case, you will have to be patient until the game is officially revealed.
