Hope Now Ministries in Ukraine

Hope Now Ministries is a US-based Christian charity dedicated to orphans in central Ukraine. We continue our work started in 1992 by our founder and missionary, Reverend Vic Jackopson. God has repeatedly shown his deep love for widows and orphans through Scripture. In everything we do, we now want to glorify God with hope in the service of the most valuable. We focus on orphans, families and society.

Over the years, Hope Now USA has established a special relationship with Shpol Orphanage, including school directors and 140 children living in Shpolu. We work with employees to help them realize their dream of a refuge. Together we improve the fitness of children by funding various construction projects and implementing a school uniform program. The teacher training program was carried out with enthusiasm and continues to this day. Our volunteer teams are always welcome, especially during our Sunday school days and at our many camps. Our sponsorship program offers Hope Now donors a unique opportunity to connect Christ’s love with their children in Ukraine.

We all need a loving family to thrive. Families that are killing have often been damaged by life problems, but some of these families can be found. Hope now cares for many orphaned families who find it difficult to live fully. The Lord brings us to mothers who want to raise their children but need Christ’s beloved support, a mentor and help.

The children finish Shpola at the end of 9th grade and their life in the shelter ends. We hope that most of them continue to attend business school with encouragement, but that means moving to a new city, living in an inn and finding a social worker. With the help of many talented and dedicated listeners at the Ministry of Hope seminar, they have now set up a successful team of young people for Shpola alumni who meet weekly in the city of Cherkassy, ​​where many alumni come from Shpola. You can relax with familiar faces, share the burden of others, build relationships with Christian mentors, and explore God’s great love for them. To facilitate our efforts, Hope Now USA works with local churches and charities in the Cherkassy area. Each organization offers orphans and families the opportunity to reach out to the local community. Christian leaders are active in the organizations we support and contribute to the lives of victims.
