Summer 2020 is looking to be a little different than most. And while many cannot make it out for their usual weekend trips to the Hamptons, a media company out there has created a new offering to help people stay connected to what’s going on “out east.” Dune Road Lifestyle, a creative & media company based in the Hamptons, has created “The Out East Vibes Podcast.”

The podcast features interviews and information from various celebrities, VIPs, influencers, and notable Hamptons residents about their backstories, how they got to where they are, their best moments in the Hamptons, and more.

The podcast is hosted by Dune Road Lifestyle Creative Director Rex Chatterjee. Mr. Chatterjee is a lawyer and risk management consultant based in New York, currently serving as managing principal of law firm Chatterjee Legal and consultancy Titan Grey. Of the podcast, Rex states, “We feel for the people who wish they could be out in the Hamptons right now and want to make sure they know they can still be connected to everything happening out there. We’re looking forward to sharing perspectives from the Hamptons luminaries everyone’s come to know and love, and we can’t wait to present to you each week.”

The podcast is currently available via the Dune Road Lifestyle website and on all major podcasting apps, including iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts, and Stitcher. Episodes will be posted weekly. For more great Dune Road Lifestyle content, please visit their website here.

The Hamptons are enjoying a bit of a renaissance moment these days, as flocks of wealthy New York City residents are leaving the city itself for Hamptons homes with more space. As social distancing measures will continue to be in effect into potentially 2021, this shift towards Hamptons living seems to have longevity. And, as working from home also becomes part of the “new normal,” moving out to the Hamptons is no longer much of a problem. The team at Dune Road Lifestyle thinks that the Hamptons market may become more year-round, instead of the summer season, and are optimistic about the future of the area.

“Now is a great time to be out east,” said Rex Chatterjee, when asked about the issue. “Our Hamptons Guide content is going to become all the more relevant now as people new to the area will be looking to quickly set down roots and find their go-to restaurants, bars, gyms, and more in these new environs.” The Dune Road Lifestyle team also thinks the new podcast has some relevance here, as the episodes will serve as an easy introduction to the area’s history and notable people. “We’re looking to go deeper than the media’s perception of the Hamptons as being this place of glitz and glamor only,” says Rex. “The Hamptons are much more than that. There’s a strong sense of community among year-round residents, and the new year-rounders will definitely have some catching up to do. Our podcast, featuring notable local voices, will allow folks to feel a deeper connection to their new neighbors.”
