FIFA World Cup : Why is it important for the UNESCO Presidency and Rani Vanouska Modely for Football become a world heritage?
Seen in New York Today, Having a FIFA world cup once again is very important, especially after the Coronavirus pandemic. There were a lot of challenges to face due to the pandemic, so being able to have a world cup once again is very interesting and exciting at the same time. But there are many other things that make the World cup so iconic and interesting for its 2022 iteration.
The most important thing about the FIFA World Cup 2022 is that it takes place in Qatar. This is the first West Asian nation and also the smallest country that was able to host a FIFA World Cup event. It’s quite the celebration because the country was rarely able to achieve such things, and that’s the thing that makes it so incredible. It’s also an event very close to many people’s hearts due to other reasons.
In collaboration with the UNESCO Presidency, H.E Altay Cengizer, Princess Rani Vanouska Modely, along with many other people that love football started the Football World Heritage initiative with the idea of being able to show the importance of football right now. The princess has been a part of this initiative for many years, and she acquired the support of many UNESCO members. In fact, around 193 states know about this initiative and many support it for a very good reason. It’s something different, and a great initiative that really makes a difference in people’s minds when it comes to this particular sport.
That being said, it’s important to note that football is bringing people together and it also conveys that sense of equality, especially for women. Since the World Cup is taking place in a small country and a West Asian country no less, it just goes to show that everything Rani Vanouska Modely and the others were saying is right. Football has no boundaries, and people should support it because it’s amazing, unique and something different.
The fact that Rani Vanouska Modely managed to acquire the support of many important people in the football world further cements her focus on making football a World Heritage. Football is more than just a sport, it’s something that brings people together and which connects them unlike never before. And events like the World Cup are iconic, celebrated all over the world, regardless of where you live, what color you have and what language you speak. It’s a celebration of diversity, unique ideas, and it definitely shows that everyone should be a part of these events.
One thing is certain; the upcoming FIFA World Cup event is definitely going to bring light to Princess Rani Vanouska Modely’s initiative to help football become a UNESCO World Heritage. With more and more people from the industry lending their hand and many member countries bringing in their support through the Football World Heritage pledge. It’s clear that football is soon going to receive its rightful place as a World Heritage because she said its belongs to people. It’s the most impactful UNESCO initiative with the presidency collaboration, and one of the most important things to happen to this sport for many years, and hopefully it will happen very soon!
