Rapper Sheek Louch from the legendary New York rap group The Lox congratulates upcoming independent artist and rapper Foolish Senpai in an Instagram video clip.

After catching up on the Foolish Senpai and his previous releases. He has shown to have been consistently releasing new material since he started. Foolish has worked with a couple of notable artists already really early into his career. He did a collaboration with The Firm’s Nature on a song called “Mama Says” which was a huge look for him. Which is perceived to later get him connected with The Lox’s artist Styles P & Jadakiss. Foolish Senpai had the veteran rapper Styles P provide the listeners golden nuggets of wisdom on his track “Uphill Battle”. Which the song gave him the momentum he needed to get featured on the Jadakiss hot new artist mixtape & have his music featured in Thisis50.com.

Looking further back into Foolish discography we noticed he did a surprising collaboration with GemStones. The gemstone was an artist signed to Lupe Fiasco’s record label very early on. Both Lupe Fiasco and GemStones had various hits together on “The Cool” and “Food and Liquor” LPs. The song Foolish and GemStones did together was “Shine”. The song is off of Foolish first official release.

On that same project called “Thrill of the Chase”, he did a song with a veteran Christian Hip Hop artist by the name of KJ-52. On the track “Hold the Light” the pioneer CHH artist compliments Foolish Senpai and the songs subject matter. KJ-52 collaboration was yet again another surprise for fans. KJ-52 released ”Dear Slim” early in his career which brought him both negative and positive exposure. The song addressed Eminem and became a widely popular song within the CHH community.

After taking a deep dive into Foolish Senpai’s music, it can be said he has thought-provoking lyrics with a smooth flow to go with it. It’s rare to find an artist that has a unique sound and story to go with it. Judging off Foolish Senpai’s social media presence and consistent releases it could also be said that he is focused on his craft. He has many different songs that touch on very deep concepts regarding mental health, religion, social structure, abuse, and the list goes on. The project “Akusen Kutou” became a huge hit gaining a lot of attention and praise for its content, lyrical presence, and unique sound.

Foolish Senpai’s latest release is a 5 song project called “Yami No Sekai”. The EP started with a unique sound incorporating both Japanese vocals by the artist Yo Zi and Christian Hip Hop artist Lecrae. Lecrae comes through on the track with a prayer which adds the finishing touches to the song. The Yami No Sekai project is another great addition to Senpai’s discography.

Foolish Senpai’s talent has already got the attention of a lot of veteran artist and now it seems that the fans are starting to take notice as well.

Both niche backpack rap fans and the mainstream, fans alike have been following both The Lox and Foolish Senpai to see what other moves they have planned.
