Bishop Lamor Miller Whitehead worthy reputation and proud Brooklynite

Bishop Lamor Miller Whitehead has a worthy reputation for serving others with ferocious passion and dedication. He is a husband, father, public servant, and proud Brooklynite. Bishop Lamor Miller Whitehead has the heart, compassion, and leadership abilities to serve the citizens of Brooklyn and to move the Borough towards real change. He is who Brooklyn needs as the next Borough President.

Artists of the Hip-Hop community are embracing Bishop Lamor Miller Whitehead. He has caught the attention of the likes of, Comedian FatBoy, Hip-Hop Artist Fivio Foreign, Rapper Dusty Locane, the Queen of Dancehall Spice, and more with his powerful messages. As the Pastor of Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries both of Brooklyn & Atlanta, GA – he delivers straightforward messages to the congregation that is relatable to their lives. Bishop Whitehead does not hold any punches when it comes to sharing his experience and what GOD has done in his life. He makes no apologies for his mistakes. However, these things are not important, but they are a part of him. He owns it.

People love that about him. He has found himself in the news because he is the 1stgeneration descendant of someone who was brutally killed by the police in 1978. “Although he was a baby when his father was taken from him, he dealt with that loss like any young black child growing up without him. There were so many lessons he had to learn the hard way because his father was not around. He took that to the chin and did what he had to do to survive in the rough streets of Brooklyn. That’s what makes his testimony even stronger,” stated his Publicist Lynn Hobson.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Whitehead pushes to abolish systemic racism within several facets of the New York City Government. “I will fight to reform New York’s criminal justice system by erasing Broken Windows of policing. I will support expanding bail reform—as 95% of the people jailed on Rikers Island are black and brown and often too poor to make bail. Developing reentry programs is also at the top of my list of priorities once elected as Brooklyn Borough President,” states Bishop Lamor Miller Whitehead, who is the only candidate with a plan to fight systemic racism. “Also, I dedicate my campaign plan for the borough of Brooklyn to Shirley Chisholm, the first black woman elected to the United States Congress, representing New York’s 12th congressional district, a district centered on Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams said he’s standing by his controversial pal Bishop Lamor Whitehead — even though law enforcement agencies have said Whitehead publicly claimed partnerships with them that didn’t exist.

Adams has appeared with the bishop at more than a dozen public events since Whitehead’s release from prison in July 2013, after serving five years for multiple convictions of identity fraud and grand larceny.
