Aquahydrate’ Looks To Blast Past Zero Water, Diddy & Wahlberg’s H20 Brand Partners With Alkaline Water

The Alkaline Water Company, makers of premium alkaline bottled drinking water “Alkaline88” have just announced they are acquiring celebrity-backed bottled water brand, AQUAhydrate in an unparalleled deal that is estimated to drive sales upward of $65 million for next year.

More than just a bottled water company, private Los-Angeles-based AQUAhydrate is backed by several celebrity investors and is positioned as a performance lifestyle brand that values individual health and wellness. For Alkaline Water Company, this bold acquisition will strengthen its overall national brand, enable the company to expand its product portfolio, and facilitate cross-selling to new markets.

While everyone can benefit from drinking ultra-clean alkaline water like Alkaline88, for those on a tighter budget or for those who want to reduce their environmental footprint, there are other just as healthy alternatives to drinking bottled water, like the Zero Water Filter

High-Profile Partners from AQUAhydrate

One of the strengths of AQUAhydrate’s brand is its well-connected celebrity investors. With actor Mark Wahlberg, rap artist Sean “Diddy” Combs, and fitness sensation Jillian Michaels on the brand’s side, Alkaline will definitely gain from the power and reach of these individuals who have an estimated combined social media reach of 74 million follwers. Also very well connected in Hollywood, AQUAhydrate has already been spotted in the hands of celebrity friends –  like pop artist Beyoncé Knowles.

In addition to A-list celebrities, AQUAhydrate also boasts a roster of high-profile athletes as brand ambassadors. These include MVP quarterback Nick Foles, three-time Olympic champion Carmelita Jeter, and professional skateboarder Greg Lutzka, among other successful athletes which have great influence on social media and in the public sphere.

Plans for the Future

In addition to plans to leverage AQUAhydrate’s celebrity backing and influence, Alkaline also plans to use the brand as a platform to launch CBD-infused products in an effort to “increase demand and popularity for functional wellness beverages”, according to the company’s recent press release.  Although still in development due to legal reasons, the company plans to stay ahead of the curve by not pursuing “the commercial production or sale of CBD-infused products until legally permitted”

Alkaline also stated that they are: “closely watching and responding to all regulatory developments within the FDA and in each individual U.S. state, and plans to launch its CBD infused products accordingly.”

In the same press release, the company will also use the acquisition to expand its offerings by providing a greater variety of flavors and increased sparkling options; taking on leaders in the US sparkling water market: Sparkling Ice and La Croix. For more CBD products check out MOTA edibles.

A More Sustainable Option: Zero Water Filters

Everyone needs to drink water daily, and for some, ensuring their water consumption is cost-effective and sustainable is a higher priority over drinking celebrity-endorsed bottled water. Without having to sacrifice taste and health benefits, premium water filters like Zero Water Filters are a solid alternative. Utilizing a five-stage process and Ion Exchange Technology, the filter removes 99% of total dissolved solids found in tap water.  Drinkers then are able to have water at home that tastes just as pure as bottled water, but for a fraction of the financial and environmental cost.
