From MySpace To The App – The Programming Story of Andrew Fashion
Take one high school dropout with a gift for two things – entrepreneurship and programming. Add in one incredibly popular social media site – MySpace. Mix the two for a new website that allows people to customize their MySpace pages – MySpaceSupport.com.
What started as a meager $200.00 a day suddenly jumps to $10,000.00 a day. Andrew Fashion (real name Andrew Thompson) became a millionaire almost overnight. Not too bad for a simple dropout from a small town in rural Colorado.
Thompson shifted his interest from MySpace after it began its decline to a new and upcoming concept called cryptocurrency. His focus, an up and coming product called Bitcoin. Thompson turns what started as a few thousand dollars into 2.5 million in approximately the same amount of time. The nuances and unsavory elements associated with the currency are enough for Thompson to walk away and into his newest passion.
By now, there is new technology on the market. Apple has combined most of the current technologies into a single, unified device. Its name is the iPhone. The newest technology uses apps, and Thompson learns the newest programming language designed for app creation.
Thompson, now going by his professional name based on a previous passion for photography, Fashion, co-founds a startup for a fitness app called Evolve. Fashion’s entrepreneur mentality and skill for selling raise 1.7 million dollars for the app. Along the way, he brings on an Instagram star and darling, Sommer Ray, a fitness guru with several million followers in her own right. Thompson sees the app through to its release before walking away with a sense of relief.
Los Angeles is home now. Fashion divides his days on two passions: His current app, Gypsee, and his precious daughter, Sage. Gypsee will be a travel app. People will be able to arrive on location for a fully curated adventure regardless of their home located within the continental U.S. Make the subscription payments; go to the airport. 100 percent of everything from that point forward is covered.
Gypsee will debut sometime after the new year, just in time for the college spring break season. Travel opportunities will be limited to start to only a few locations. Anyone who knows Fashion, however, knows this is only the beginning of what is certain to be the future of the travel industry.
